How Detect & Correct and Zencity Help Cities Address Misinformation

At Zencity, we’ve always been driven by a mission to help local governments make better, data-informed decisions to improve the lives of their residents. Today, we’re excited to announce a new partnership with Rep’d that will take this mission to the next level. Together, we’re launching the “Detect & Correct” program—an initiative designed to empower municipalities with cutting-edge technology to better identify and address community concerns and misinformation.

The digital landscape is evolving, and with it, the way people communicate. This presents both opportunities and challenges for local governments. On one hand, community conversations can provide invaluable insights, but they can also give rise to misinformation that spreads rapidly and undermines trust. Through Detect & Correct, we’re bridging this gap.

Powered by Zencity’s AI-driven platform, which continuously monitors and analyzes public sentiment across various communication channels, the program will provide municipalities with real-time insights into emerging concerns and potential misinformation. But we’re not stopping there. By partnering with Rep’d’s powerful video technology, municipalities will be able to proactively address these issues through short  videos shared instantly, — ensuring that accurate information reaches residents in a timely and impactful way.

Rep'd COO Mark Friese announces partnership on stage at Civtech State of Govtech conference in Kansas City, MO on September 11, 2024.

We’re also excited to share that we’ll be kicking off the Detect & Correct program with a group of forward-thinking municipalities that have been carefully selected by both Zencity and Rep’d. These municipalities  are not only committed to innovation but are also ready to lead the charge in creating more informed and engaged communities.

This is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we continue to expand the reach of Detect & Correct, helping more local governments harness the power of new technology to build stronger, more resilient communities.
