Representing Zencity at the APCC (Association of Police and Crime Commissioners) & NPCC (National Police Chiefs' Council) Partnership Summit was an incredible opportunity to engage with customers, partners, and friends in the policing sector. This event marked Zencity’s second year in attendance and reaffirmed our commitment to being part of the pivotal conversations shaping policing, public safety and governance in the UK.
This year’s Summit was particularly noteworthy, as Home Secretary Rt. Hon. Yvette Cooper unveiled the new government’s ambitious roadmap for policing reform—considered by many at the event the most significant overhaul of the British policing model in decades
The themes discussed at the conference align deeply with Zencity’s mission to provide actionable insights that empower public agencies. The reforms outlined highlight the crucial balance between improving operational performance and maintaining public trust—an intersection where we really strive to make an impact.
As the government embarks on implementing these sweeping changes, it will be fascinating to observe how they tackle the dual challenges of improving policing outcomes while rebuilding trust within communities. The creation of centralised data systems and performance frameworks mirrors Zencity’s belief in the power of data-driven decision-making to drive meaningful progress.
These developments are poised to provide invaluable insights into the future of British policing and public safety. Zencity is proud to be part of this ongoing dialogue, contributing to a collective effort to shape safer, more connected communities.
We look forward to continuing the dialogue and seeing the impact of these reforms—until next year at the Partnership Summit.
